Curated by Esben Leschly Blegvad of Denmark, during 5 days, the Void Showroom provides a unique opportunity to present a brand during Paris fashion weeks. The concept is to give a brand with the space in which to display and manage a collection to potential buyers. VOID is a multi-label showroom that not only allows brands invite your own buyers, but also benefit from access to new buyers. Gutmane AW14 was displayed among the collections from Vibe Johansson, Rene Gurskov, Mads Dinesen, Ruins of Modernity, Dorateymur and Elina Dobele.

Première Vision and Void, check!
After almost three weeks spent in Paris, France, I am back in Riga! Whilst doing brand management of designer Keta Gutmane, we the team of three visited Première Vision the fabric show and Void showroom for displaying Keta's AW14 collection. Considering AW14 is her first season and that the team is still a bit green, what we gained is practical experience in the industry on communication, order sheets, meetings, business structures, buyer specifics, competition and more. Keta is now working on the next collection and we will now start practically implementing knowledge gained.
Ttwice a year ±700 weavers from 28 countries present their fabric collections in Paris in synergy with both the fashion calendar and the apparel industry demands. Première Vision also prepares exclusive fashion information and trend forecast, and this is a wonderful opportunity to meet professionals from throughout the world, from celeb designers spotted in the huge halls of the fair, to super pro and neat sales staff in each booth of a fabric company. Keta Gutmane has been visiting the fabric show for couple of years now, cooperating with Japanese and Italian fabric producers, which with their hi tech quality cloth contribute into Maison Gutmane production.
